Kampala, Uganda — The Parliament of Uganda is set to host the High-Level Extraordinary General Assembly of the Conference of Speakers and Presidents of African Legislatures (CoSPAL), bringing together parliamentary leaders from across the continent for critical dialogue on legislative collaboration and regional development.

Hon. Geoffrey Ekanya, a key figure in the organising committee, provided insights into the upcoming conference, emphasising its significance in strengthening interparliamentary relations and shaping a unified legislative agenda for Africa’s future.

The Assembly is expected to address pressing continental challenges and advance strategic cooperation among member legislatures.
